About Casa Iurca

The Casa Iurca guesthouse is located in Sighet, in the heart of Maramures Country, a land full of history and legend. A small number of rooms and a popular local restaurant with occasional music.

The Iurca family of Călineşti appears in mediaeval documents with other noble families in 1361. Over time, the family played an important role in community life in Maramures and this particular house was built in 1821. It was renovated in 2003 and opened as a guest house the following year.

Accommodation

Casa Iurca has 15 rooms (singles, doubles and one-bedroom apartments). All rooms are en suite with wifi, television, telephone and minibar. Some rooms have balcony.

 

Facilities

Indoor restaurant with further seats on the outside terrace. The menu includes traditional dishes and the atmosphere is complemented by authentic music of Maramures.

There is parking at the guest house.
