The Marmont Hotel is situated right in the heart of the old city of Split, only one minute away from Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The hotel was named after Napoleon’s commander, Marshal Augusta Frederic de Marmont, who first began building roads in Dalmatia in the early 19th century. That fact so deeply impressed the people that they passed down the story from generation to generation.
There are 21 double rooms. Standard rooms offer inner hotel yard view, Deluxe and Superior rooms offer a view of the old city. The Luxury Marmont Suite is the largest rooms - it also has a city view - and, in addition, it has a relaxation area and a spa bath. All rooms have air-conditioning, wifi, minibar, telephone, LCD TV, and hairdryer.
Cafe and Restaurant Marshal is the venue for breakfast and lunch. It offers the best quality Dalmatian prosciutto, fresh cheese, capers, black and green olives, salted and marinated anchovies. The Lounge Bar is on the first floor and is open throughout the day and in the evening why not head up to the terrace to enjoy the sun setting over the rooftops of Split & the bell tower of St Dominus Cathedral.
